Today the Longford / Essoldo Cinema in Stretford was added to the 2024 SAVE Buildings at Risk Register which was launched at an event in London. The register is revised yearly to feature new buildings at risk.
The register is a national platform for raising awareness of neglected historic buildings and their potential to bring meaningful benefit to the places in which they stand if they are restored and reused.
It joins other buildings in Trafford including Trafford Park Hotel, Basford House, Trafford Press, Veno Building and the Empress Building. The list of all new additions can be found here.
