Longford and Essoldo Cinema Stretford 
I recall many visits the Longford cinema both during and after the war .I went to all the Halle Concerts with other pupils from Stretford High School. When I met my first boyfriend we went there every Saturday evening .We booked seats in the circle , row E, the back row of the circle. They were double seats costing two shillings and three pence. Happy days.
Loved my visits to the Essoldo in the 60’s used to go most Friday nights and if my memory serves me well I was there on the last night but can’t remember the last film shown any help would be great
