“Spirit of the Essoldo will take over the top floor of the multi-storey car park at Stretford Mall for its first immersive screenings on Friday March 22 and Saturday March 23 2019. The films have yet to be revealed but organisers are promising a theme in keeping with the venue’s urban setting. The event will also feature street food stalls, a bar and DJs setting the soundtrack to an after party on the third floor following the film. Heather Garlick, owner of Stretford Sip Club and one of the organisers, said: “The top floors of the car park aren’t normally used and because a lot of Stretford is low rise it has the most incredible view across central and south Manchester. It’s looks really beautiful but quite eerie.”
